This piece was made from an original watercolor, photographed and printed on kozo paper, layered with at least 12 layers of encaustic medium, cut to new shape and sculpted into new form.  It was then further colored with powdered pigment to further define the color and form.  This piece is full of vibrancy, and symbolizes the ability for all of us to grow more fully into ourselves as we go through life.  It is currently a pedestal piece, but could be transformed into a wall-mounted piece.
