The "AWE" Collection was created by dipping into the abundance of beautiful flora discovered while floating dreamily through Melbourne's Royal Botanic Gardens with a camera in hand and a wildly beating heart. My eyes widened in awe as I tried to take in the wonder of organic shapes, textures, forms, and glowing colors that added such vibrancy to the gray day filled with gentle rain.

Each magnificent image was printed on archival paper, lightly layered with beeswax and damar resin (encaustic medium), fused between every layer, cut to shape, and meticulously sewn into a pod small enough to hold in your hand, filled with a potent pocket of abundant energy from the Australian Wonderland.

What a joy it was to transform these otherworldly natural specimens and share them with you!

Each pod is sewn with a loop at the top or bottom for hanging in a special spot or setting on a small table with other nature collections; perhaps it will serve as a reminder of the growth, potential, and magic in your own corner of the world.
